After School

We Achieve

In order to help meet the needs of busy families, participating Putnam City elementary schools offer an afterschool program. The aftercare program begins when the school day ends. Children must be picked up no later than 6 p.m. Some schools may also offer before care. Earliest drop off times may vary per school.

This convenient program offers a safe environment for children in kindergarten through grade 5. Healthy snacks are provided after school. Daily activities will be planned outdoors (as weather permits), in the computer lab, the gym, action-based learning labs and in the cafeteria. The Extended Care program maintains a fully trained staff.

School participation in this program is not guaranteed. As each school will decide if they will or will not offer the program based on community demand/needs and staffing availability, participating schools may vary yearly.  Below are the schools offering Extended Care in the 2021-2022 school year:

The daily rate is $25.00.
